Mind and Body Therapy
Mind and body approaches refer to a set of techniques focused on bodywork to improve overall well-being.

1
Sophrology
Sophrology is a discipline invented by the psychiatrist Alfonso Caycedo in the 1960s. This therapy aims to harmonize the mind and body through a wide range of exercises (meditation, breathing, grounding, etc.). The method is based on diverse techniques from the West and the East, like yoga, Zen, hypnosis, or phenomenology. The practice involves relaxation exercises to build positive coping mechanisms.
2
Breathwork
Breathwork is a set of breathing techniques designed to improve your well-being. Inspired by ancient practices such as Pranayama in India or Qigong in China, these methods also incorporate more modern approaches like box breathing. Exercises focus on the rhythm, depth, and different phases of the breath to help you restore your vital energy.
3
Trauma-informed approaches
Trauma-informed approaches are a support framework for anyone committed to taking into account the effects of trauma on others, whether they are professionals or not. This framework helps create safer and more supportive environments by preventing traumatic experiences or the reactivation of past trauma. These approaches promote respect, support, autonomy, safety, and transparency in helping individuals.
4
Mindfulness
Mindfulness is the meditative practice of staying aware of our internal and external stimuli. Based on Buddhist traditions, this method allows us to observe the present moment with openness and non-judgment, in an awakened state. This practice involves regular meditation and grounding exercises, like yoga postures or breathing techniques.
